ReplyDeletethe water has to be consumed from the same bottle
ReplyDeleteoh
ReplyDeletelet d total amount b X litres...
ReplyDelete1st day: drink X/2...
2nd day: X/4...
3rd day: X/8.. n so on...
so each day u drink half the amount u drank d previous day...
n so..the bottle will never b empty..
a fantastic answer by Tarun
ReplyDeleteActually a general answer is just vary the quantity of the bottle in accordance with a decreasing function which has x = 0 as assypmtote
and the difference between the values of y for consecutive integral value of x will give you the amount of your drink everyday
so this decreasing geometric series is one of the answers
